We are committed to following a clear policy for the pricing of the goods and services we supply to our customers. As a business, the company must always aim to make a profit however for many of our customers we act as both procurer and supplier and as such we are obligated to clearly state how we determine the charges for our goods and services.

Here we describe the pricing policy of the company, detailing how charges are calculated, how price adjustments are determined and any variations required for particular circumstances.

Mark-up

At our discretion, a mark-up is applied to all goods and services we supply. This mark-up is currently set at 15% of the total order value (excluding any tax and/or delivery charges).

The mark-up comprises of an element of profit for us and an element to reflect the time and effort required to procure the item or service. We are committed to ensuring we accurately reflect such costs in the mark up and so have defined minimum and maximum mark-ups that we will apply.

If the total mark-up of an order you have made is less than £2.50, then the mark-up element of the order will be set to £2.50. For example, if a cable is required that costs £10, the mark-up would usually be calculated to be £1.50 however because this is less than the £2.50 minimum, the actual amount you will be charged will be £12.50.

If the total mark-up of an order you have made is more than £500, then the mark-up element of the order will be limited to £500. For example, if you order a new server which costs £5,000, the mark-up would usually be calculated to be £750 however because this is more than the £500 maximum, the actual amount you will be charged will be £5,500.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We take great care to supply you the goods and services that best meet your requirements however if you are in any way dissatisfied with what we have supplied we will take the item back and offer you an exchange or a full refund.

If the goods have sustained substantial wear and tear, we reserve the right to make a fair adjustment to the refund value to reflect the reduction in the value of the item.

Price Promise

We aim to be competitive in every aspect of our business and are committed to ensuring we supply goods and services to you at the best possible prices. To demonstrate this commitment, we operate the following price promise:

If within 15 days of receipt you find an identical item we have supplied you cheaper elsewhere (including equivalent delivery charges), we will give you a credit against any future purchases.

Delivery Charges

We do not charge you for the delivery of goods unless the goods are:

  • Required in a time scale that attracts higher than usual delivery charges. For example, an item is required by 9.30am on the next working day.
  • Heavy, bulky or have particular transport requirements. For example, a large format printer will be both heavy and bulky and so will incur additional delivery charges.

Where additional delivery charges are incurred in fulfilling your order, such charges will be passed on at our discretion however the company will not usually apply any "mark-up" to such charges.

Buying back of goods

We aim to minimise wastage and maximise the useful life of the items we supply and maintain. As a result we may offer to buy back unwanted goods and either re-use or resell them on to others. You are under no obligation to accept such offers and may elect to have the equipment disposed of.

Confidentiality

When we buy back equipment which is subsequently re-sold to someone else, we will take care to ensure your confidentiality is maintained. We will remove all identifying labels, securely wipe any storage media and ensure that you are released from all liabilities associated with the equipment.

Pricing

Where we offer to buy an item back from you, we will offer a fair price. Typically the amount offered will be determined by comparing the sale costs of similar items on auction web sites such as eBay.

Certain items, for example a faulty laptop, will have little or no economic value and may well incur additional charges should they need to be sent for waste disposal. In such circumstances we aim to be as fair and realistic as possible when determining any kind of offer to you.

Reselling the goods and services of other companies

We may enter into agreements with other companies to resell their goods and services. Such agreements may require us to charge you at a particular level that may exceed our usual mark-up.

We will ensure that any recommendations we make for the goods and services of other companies are not based on any commission we may receive but are based on your requirements.
