It is very troubling when emails disappear. It can lead to suspicions including that there is a fault with the email server or that a hacker or other person has accessed your account, but this is very rarely the case. Reasons we have found in the past have included -
Where is my email?
Please first check your deleted items. If you are working remotely from Chambers/work, please also log onto the webmail and check the deleted items there too.
Check your junk folder - After arrival the email may be filtered into junk email so check there too (and also on the webmail).
If you are missing one or more folders, please look in the other folders (starting with those nearby alphabetically) to see if they have been accidentally dragged into one. Recovering them is as simple as dragging the folder(s) back out to the level you had before.
