How to change your CJSM mailbox password

If you use the mailbox version of the CJSM service you may wish to change your password to something more memorable and here we show you how.

If you use the mailbox version of the CJSM service you may wish to change your password to something more memorable and here we show you how.

Before you begin

  • You will need access to the Internet
  • You will need your CJSM username and password
  • Ensure that any E-mail applications configured for CJSM on your PC/Mac are closed (not minimised, closed).

Change your CJSM password

  1. Log into your CJSM mailbox via the CJSM website (http://www.cjsm.net)
  2. Click the Settings link toward the bottom left of the page (see below):

  3. The Settings for your account will now be shown
  4. Click the "Change Password tab
  5. Enter your current password, the new password and re-enter the new password
  6. Click the Change button  and continue.

  7. Your password will now be changed.
  8. At this stage it is recommended you log out of CJSM and log back in again just to be sure you have completed the process successfully.

Notes

  1. If you have CJSM configured to work with a PC/Mac E-mail application (e.g. Outlook/Mac Mail) you can now start the application and when prompted enter your new password (depending on the configuration you may receive one or two prompts).
  2. Once changed you cannot change your password again within 24 hours.
